AMSTERDAM 7s
One of the biggest tournaments in Europe, the Amsterdam Sevens is usually played the last weekend of May. Very well organized, mixing amateur teams from Europe and traditional invitational Sevens teams featuring professional players (e.g. Samurai, Crusaders, etc.). The Men's bracket is composed of 12 pools of five teams each. The top teams advance on Sunday to the Heineken cup while the rest of the teams go to the Silver Pier and the Integer Cups. The last team in each bracket goes home after playing its four pool matches.
